Thangka Trees, one of the 12x12in paintings in the 12I12I12 show
I am really enjoying my time as the Resident Artist at Sheboygan North High School.
I have been keeping very busy. The first week of November, I packed up my artwork to hang a show at Lakeland College, and also began preparing panels for a new show which will be hung on November 28th.
12 paintings in less than 12 studio days.
Let’s just say I’ve given myself some homework to take with me from the studio so that I can get the last two done on time!
Artwork for the Lakeland show, packed up and ready to go.
Panels about to be cut down for the 12 12 12 show.
How many clamps does it take?
To save on time I decided to glue and clamp a large stack of panels all at once.
Ready to be unclamped.
I then used the power sander to even up the edges of the panels.

work in progress, the humble beginnings of my Treelight II Triptych
These 9 of 12 paintings are a continuing meditation on the Treelight series.
